Joel is a follower of Jesus Christ.  He is also an avid hunter with an artistic flare who is always ready for the next adventure in the great outdoors. His hometown of Cody, Wyoming is never in short supply of outdoor experiences any time of year. 

Joel believes Christ never intended Christianity to be an addendum to our life – IT SHOULD BE OUR LIFE! It should be a “normality of” 24/7-365, not an “exception to”!

For this reason Joel has sought to use his passions in the outdoors as a tool to share the Gospel with others who enjoy the same activities.

His artistic nature is seen in his speaking, writing, photography, and video creations.  Joel has spoken at events from coast to coast, has had articles published in several magazines, and most recently has had his video “Broken and Special” be named as a finalist in the Western Hunter Film Festival as well as taken “Best cinematography” and “Best mini film” in the Christian Film Festival.

Joel has served as a youth pastor and worship leader. He has also been heavily involved in the non-profit, faith-based organization Polestar Outdoors whose goal is to reach and minister to youth through the outdoors.
